Award Nominations
There are 3 awards that the general Corn Stock membership can nominate volunteers for. The Applause Award, The Golden Ear, and The Sterling Quality Award. (Nominations Close August 21, 2025) APPLAUSE AWARD: This award is presented annually to a participant whose enthusiasm and humor adds so much to the esprit-De-corps of a show's company. To one who touched our hearts and made cares disappear - we salute you with Applause. GOLDEN EAR: This award is presented annually to a backstage participant who truly embodies the word "techie". Dedicated to those people behind the scenes without whose help the show would not go on, we gratefully honor the recipient for their hard work and enthusiasm. STERLING QUALITY: This award is established to honor a Corn Stock Theatre participant who willingly and unselfishly provided outstanding service to Corn Stock Theatre that is deemed "above and beyond the call of duty." Originally conceived and presented by Bill Nicolson at CST's 25th (silver) Anniversary Recognition Dinner in 1978, the award was presented by him annually until his passing. Now, the recipient of this award can be nominated by the CST membership, but the CST current Board of Directors makes the final selection.
