Thank you for auditioning for When We Were Young and Unafraid. This play deals with sensitive but important topics. Some material may be triggering to some folks as the play discusses topics like domestic abuse and sexual assault. These situations will not be taken lightly, and the utmost care will be taken to protect the cast and crew’s emotional and mental wellbeing. Actors are highly encouraged to read through the entire script and will be given the chance to do so before accepting a role. If you’d like to read through the play before you audition, please email me at [email protected] to borrow a copy of the script. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions in regards to play material and situations. I’m looking forward to directing this meaningful play that brings issues to light that our society is still dealing with well after the script’s setting.
